Up until about a year ago it was the best ice cream shop in the area, then I don't know if they changed some products, or machinery, but they changed something, in addition to having reduced the portions. I certainly didn't find a couple of ladies who worked there and who were very careful about gluten-free, who took, for celiac subjects, a separate scoop to avoid contamination. Recently when I asked to take a new one, the counter staff I had never seen answered me "that they don't do it anymore"....
If you have a sign outside that says gluten-free ice cream it means that for a celiac subject you need to prepare and use new utensils and take them separately to avoid, as written above, any possible contamination, and not just have foods that don't contain gluten.
